Inlet filters and anti-legionella systems
The quality of the fog starts with the quality of the water.
At 100 bar a 0.15 mm orifice does not forgive impurities: a single particle can block the nozzle and change droplet size. The inlet filtration assembly protects the pump, the line and the nozzles, and keeps system output constant over time.
Two complementary families: inlet filter kits in 5″, 10″ and 20″ sizes with 1, 5 and 10 µm cartridges for mechanical filtration, and certified absolute filters with hollow-fibre membranes, offering bacterial retention above 99.99999% (> log 7) for microbiological protection of the misted water.

The inlet assembly is installed upstream of the pump and comprises housing, cartridge, bracket, pressure gauge and the supply and delivery fittings. The complete filter kits AQF10 001 and AQF10 002 already include tubing and fittings: 3/4 inlet, 10 mm outlet.

Cartridge quality standards
- High-performance micro-filtration (MF) cartridges, delivering microbiologically safe water for high flow volume applications.
- Bacterial retention > 99.99999% (> log 7), tested by an external institute according to ASTM F838.
- Fits standard 5″, 10″ (9¾″) and 20″ housings; EPDM seals ensure fast and easy replacement.
- A bundle of hollow fibre membranes is protected by a stable, perforated polypropylene shell; endcaps with thick flat seals ensure a secure fit inside the housing.
- Manufactured under controlled conditions: each cartridge is tested for integrity according to ASTM D6908-06 and marked with item and batch numbers for traceability.
- Membranes are made of NSF-61 certified material, with regular pore size tests for each production batch.

Nozzle protection
At 100 bar a 0.15 mm orifice clogs with very little: filtration from 1 to 10 µm preserves droplet size and system output.
